Depression
Depression, also known as major depressive disorder or clinical depression, is a common yet serious mood disorder.
People with depression may feel sad, anxious, empty, hopeless, helpless, worthless, guilty, irritable, or restless. They may lose interest in activities once enjoyed, have low energy, or be prone to angry outbursts or excessive crying. Additional signs and symptoms include digestive issues, body aches, suicidal thoughts, difficulty concentrating, and changes in appetite or weight.
To be diagnosed with clinical depression, symptoms must persist for at least two weeks and negatively impact one's ability to function.
At Mindagon, we create holistic treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and situation. Our integrative approach combines mindfulness practices with lifestyle changes, psychotherapy, medication management, and more to help individuals gain control over their depression and regain joy in their lives.
